WaterITech is an advanced science-based consultancy based in Denmark. The firm specializes in the development and application of state-of-the-art hydrological and ecological models, data analysis and visualization for private, governmental, and academic clientele. We address flooding, drought, and water quality challenges by combining local environmental monitoring, global data sources, and high-tech models into actionable insights for sustainable water management. Our team customizes our services to align with the need of our clients and ensure comprehensive and punctual deliverables. When applicable, our models are compatible with WaterWebTools.com digital forecasting products and can be used as a basis for short-term operational forecasting.

Christopher Nielsen

Partner in WaterWebTools

Mr. Nielsen is a Founding Member of WaterITech's sister company WaterWebTools. He is the designer and lead developer of the ASAP Platform (frontend), mobile app, and the ASAP Live solution.

Anders Lehmann, Ph.D.

Partner in WaterWebTools

Dr. Lehmann is a co-founder of WaterITech's sister company WaterWebTools. He is responsible for the design and development of the global, scalable forecast backend.

Tobias K. Andersen, Ph.D.

Affiliated partner from
the Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Dr. Andersen has worked with the founders of WaterITech for several years, and has great expertise in development and application of the WET ecosystem model. He is currently working with WaterITech on a new green house gas (GHG) module for WET, which will enable us to quantify the impacts of climate change and ecosystem restoration on GHG emissions.
